DISCIPLINARY RULES (COLLEGE):

Students are advised to observe the rules notified by the college from time to time, breach of these rules shall render them liable to disciplinary action such as fine, being struck off the rolls, or expulsion. It is imperative, therefore, for students to get themselves acquainted with the following rules.
| SMOKING: |
Chenab College Campus is a smoking-free zone. Any student found smoking inside or in front of campus, is strictly dealt with.
| DRESS CODE: |
Students are required to wear the college uniform properly ironed/pressed and shoes polished. Their turn-out is regularly checked. Girl students are not allowed to put on makeup or wear jewelry of any kind.
| MOBILE PHONES: |
Mobile phone is strictly prohibited on campus. In case of an emergency, students are allowed to use the college phones with prior approval.
| REFRESHMENTS: |
Drinks and eatables may be consumed only during break and wrappers and plastic bags are deposited in bins. No food stuffs are allowed to be taken inside the classroom. However, fresh water bottles during hot summer days may be carried in the school bags to the classrooms. Birthday parties or other celebrations are not allowed on campus including cafeteria, the ladies lounge & the classrooms.
| SUSPENSION FROM THE COLLEGE: |
The Principal has full authority to fine, suspend or expel any student at any time he feels that student's stay in the college is not in the best interest of the institution.
| LOSS TO COLLEGE PROPERTY: |
Damage to any college property has to be made good by the student who is involved in this act of vandalism.
| ACCESS TO TEACHERS: |
Parents must not meet any teacher directly. Principal will arrange such meeting if he so desires.
DISCIPLINARY RULES (BOARDERS)
Boarders are not allowed any leave except sick leave during the term nor are they allowed to go home on weekends except in case of emergency. Students must report to the Housemaster before Maghrib Prayers on the day of their arrival after exeat as mentioned in the term calendar. Failing to do so, will render them liable to a fine of Rs. 200/ - for the first day and Rs. 100/ - is charged for each subsequent day.
Boarders are allowed to keep items of clothing, bedding, and books which are listed in the hostel disciplinary rules updated from time to time.
Following articles must not be brought or kept in the custody of boarders:
Electrical appliances like heaters, rods, radios, transistors, record-players and cellular phones etc.
Bicycles, motorcycles and scooters.
Knives and fire arms.
Valuable items like watches etc.
Parents and relatives should visit the students only on visitors' day i.e. Sunday.
The names of relatives, along with their full addresses, who are authorized to see the students, must be intimated to the Housemaster concerned. If a relative, whose name is not given before hand, wishes to see the student, it is necessary that he / she should bring a letter of authority from the parents for this purpose.
On arrival, the visitor must give his identity, registration of vehicle if he is traveling in one and his relationship to the boarder at the gate.
The gatekeeper will inform Housemaster and the boarder will meet the visitor in the parking area.
Parents or visitors must not meet or contact any other student except their own without prior permission of the Principal / Housemaster.
Boarders may phone their parents once a week, on Saturday evening or Sunday morning.
Students suffering from contagious or infectious disease are not permitted to attend the college or stay in the hostel. Such students are sent home after consulting the concerned physician. These students are to produce medical fitness certificate on their arrival after recovery.
Boarders are not allowed to open a private account in the college bank. Buying on credit from the college cafeteria or bookshop is not permitted.
The pocket money for boarders not exceeding Rs. 1000/- per term must be deposited with the college accountant.
Parents are not allowed to enter the dormitories of students.
Parents must contact concerned Housemaster when they come to drop or collect their child.
Parents are advised to attend monthly Parent Teacher meetings as mentioned in the term calendar.
Exeat or arrival of boarders must be either in college uniform or white shalwar kameez. Students are not allowed to keep coloured and casual clothing other than college uniform, white shalwar kameez, game uniform and a sleeping suit.
Parents are to collect the monthly, terminal and final results of their children in Parent-Teacher meetings.
Fighting, using foul language, stealing and any other unsocial activity will lead to immediate expulsion from the college.
Any complaints regarding hostel facilities should be lodged with the Senior Housemaster.
